Tricia Cattani, APN, FNP-BC

Tricia Cattani, APN, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is currently enrolled in Princeton Dermatology Associates’ Fellows Program.

Tricia grew up in Yardley, Pennsylvania, and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from La Salle University in 1994, where she was a member of the women’s indoor and outdoor track teams. Upon graduation, she worked as a mental health counselor at Capital Health, where she developed treatment plans, facilitated individual and group interventions as well as managed the overall mental health and well-being of her patients.

During that time, Tricia started serving as a volunteer EMT for Yardley Ambulance, dedicating her time to provide high-quality care for her community. In fact, it was this volunteer opportunity that sparked Tricia’s interest in getting into the medical profession. She attended Bucks County Community College and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1997. Following that, she worked as a Registered Nurse at the Emergency Department of Capital Health for 10 years, earning multiple work excellence distinctions, such as Emergency Room Nurse of the Year in 2001 and the Nursing Excellence Award in 2006.

Tricia went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing degree from La Salle University where she graduated summa cum laude in 2012 and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. She received several college grant awards while pursuing her advanced degree due to her high academic achievements. While in her final semester at La Salle University, she developed a clinical interest in dermatology and decided to pursue this interest by completing a clinical rotation with Bucks Dermatology Associates. As part of her clinical didactic course, Tricia was required to present her poster presentation on Primary Prevention and Treatment of Melanoma to both her colleagues and clinical faculty. Her interest did not stop there, as she went on to receive a Certificate of Completion for Botox/Dermal Filler Training through Aesthetic Medical Educators Training.

Tricia has over 10 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a variety of medical specialties including pediatrics, neurology, neurosurgery, walk in clinic for adults and pediatrics with primary care conditions, as well as in clinical trials.

Outside of work, during her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and significant other. In addition, she highly enjoys cooking and baking as well as taking part in many outdoor recreational activities, relaxing by her pool, or traveling to the beach. Furthermore, she greatly enjoys Italian cuisine and seafood, especially Maryland crabs!
