Aesthetics Center

In order to provide comprehensive skin care solutions and to fully address the skin care needs of its patients, Princeton Dermatology Associates makes available a full range of ancillary aesthetics services and products via its Aesthetic Centers, conveniently located inside each of its medical offices.  In our Aesthetic Centers, we focus on enhancing our providers’ medical treatments by offering add-on ancillary treatments particularly helpful with long term acne management and improved skin appearance. These treatments include but are not limited to microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and enzyme peels.

Microdermabrasion

Ideal for all skin types… A mechanical exfoliation of the epidermis proven to help even out skin tone, improve skin’s texture, and help diminish the appearance of fine lines. Series of six (6) recommended sessions.

Specialty Peels

Glycolic Acid Peel (Alpha Hydroxy Acid)
Ideal for acne prone, aged, and dehydrated skin… Derived from sugar cane this peel moisturizes, removes dead skin cells, treats acne, improves the appearance of acne scars as well as the appearance of photo-aged skin, while promoting firm, smooth skin. AHA peels improve the skin’s texture and overall health.

Salicylic Acid Peel (Beta Hydroxy Acid)
Ideal for acne prone, oily, or aged skin… Help treat years of damage with a BHA peel which contributes to the stimulation of cell renewal and overall rejuvenation. Ideal for acne prone skin. Improves acne, exfoliates the skin, unclogs pores and can improve the overall texture of the skin.

Enzyme Peel

The phyto pumpkin enzyme peel is a great alternative to an AHA peel. It is a fruit acid/enzyme exfoliation accelerator, powerful antioxidant and mild retinoic acid substitute. The enzyme peel contains beta carotene and ascorbic acid to combat oxidative free-radical damage.

NOTE:

  • Discontinue the use of topical medications and retinoids three (3) days in advance of any facial treatments. This is even more important if you are having a chemical peel.
  • Please arrive ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Late patients will be asked to take a modified treatment or their appointment may have to be rescheduled.
  • Cancelled appointments without a twenty four (24) hour prior notice may be charged a $30 cancellation fee at PDA’s discretion.
  • Some treatments may require a consultation prior to first treatment.
