Kevin Liebmann APN

Kevin Liebmann, DNP, APN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Princeton Dermatology Associates’ highly selective Dermatology Fellows program with the highest honors.

Kevin received both his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from the prestigious Columbia University with magna cum laude honors. Kevin’s educational and professional experiences include a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine candidature at New York Chiropractic College, New York, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Sports studies (Applied Kinesiology) from Rutgers University. Kevin is also an adjunct faculty member and academic coach assisting doctoral candidates at Columbia University’s School of Nursing. 

Kevin subspecialized in oncology for his DNP at Columbia University, and has gained considerable experience in the areas of family practice, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and interventional cardiology at various New York City hospitals. In addition, he was a valued member of the wound care team whereby he helped to develop and implement skin care protocols that considerably reduced the incidence of hospital acquired pressure ulcers and left ventricular assist device infections.

He channeled his expertise and compassion by playing an active role in the treatment of COVID-19 patients in New York City during the COVID-19 pandemic. He maintains his active role as a volunteer for the New York City community through the New York Health and Hospitals COVID-19 Hotline and Columbia University’s COVID-19 Student Service Corporation.

Building upon his passion and clinical experiences in dermatology, he strives to provide comprehensive assessments and diagnostic reasoning to provide the best dermatologic care for every patient. He believes that providing individualized patient-centered care builds a strong patient-provider relationship, which is paramount in the proper diagnosis and treatment. His primary goal is to make sure each patient is comfortable and leaves with a confident feeling in the care they received.

Kevin is currently an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. In his free time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife, playing ice hockey, hiking, snowboarding, golfing, and reading.
