Irma is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
During her work as a registered nurse, especially during her Oncology years, she realized that skin care was her passion. She proceeded to obtain another licensure in skin care and earned her Esthetician license from the Florida College of Natural Health in 2010.
Irma shadowed a dermatologist in Florida during her rotations and fell in love even more with the diversity and challenges presented by dermatological problems and conditions that can arise from the environment or genetics. Since then, she has made it her goal to learn, help, guide and educate patients about skin care, protection and enhancement while individualizing each patient’s needs and expectations.
In her free time, Irma enjoys spending time with family and especially her two grandchildren. She enjoys, crocheting, fiction movies, different cuisines, and, while in Florida, the beach.
