Gregory A. Pistone, MD

Dr. Pistone is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has several decades of experience in dermatology and has been chosen as both a Philly and NJ “Top Doc.”  He is on staff at the University of Pennsylvania Medicine, Medical Center at Princeton.

He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania where he was awarded a prestigious Phi Beta Kappa membership. He then earned his Medical Degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. After an internship at Pennsylvania Hospital, he completed his Dermatology residency at the Skin and Cancer Hospital of Philadelphia, affiliated with Temple University School of Medicine.

Dr. Pistone has published research on the skin’s microcirculation in the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. In addition, he has completed research on the skin’s sensory receptors as well as on the deep fungal infection Sporotrichosis.

Dr Pistone has extensive experience in General and Surgical Dermatology, as well as Cosmetic Dermatology and Surgery.

His philosophy of practice stresses the importance of carefully listening to a patient’s concerns and addressing them, as well as keeping abreast of the latest research and technological advances in his field. 

Dr. Pistone was born and mostly educated in Philadelphia, but has been a life-long resident of NJ, where he resides with his two dogs, Milo and Millie. In his spare time, he volunteers at a local animal shelter and is an avid fan of the Arts.
